Icon Will Pay Tribute To Kobe Bryant By Lightning Up The Ferris Wheel

    The famous basketball team Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant will be honored by lighting up the Ferris Wheel at Santa Monica Pier with the colors of purple and gold. The Ferris Wheel height is about 90 feet and will be lit by the exclusive colors gold and purple while transitioning between the No. 8 and 24 jerseys.

    The tribute will start at 7:30 PM and continue until midnight on August 24th. This day was chosen as Kobe Bryant Day because his jersey’s no. is 8 and 24. These two numbered jerseys Bryant wore for more than 15 years in his entire career. Even the tribute will happen the day after his birthday on 23.  

    Across Southern California, Kobe Bryant fans are preparing for the day to pay tribute to the Lakers Legend Basketball team. Moreover, Brytant’s one talented fan was inspired by Bryant’s dedication, and he wishes to honor him in this type of creative way.

    The display of the Ferris Wheel is already being seen from Sunset to Midnight. This legendary Los Angeles Lakers player was killed in a helicopter accident in the year 2020 along with his daughter and seven other people.

    The 174,000 LED lights are prepared on the Ferris Wheel structure along with 40 spokes and two hubs. The lighting structure of the Ferris Wheel can feature more than 16.7 million colors. Officials said, “On this special day, we honor his legacy by looking back at three of Kobe Bryant’s most exceptional and memorable performances throughout his illustrious career.”
