You will find everything that you expect from a dark cult magic movie. The movie has a dark set up with double motion in the sky, magical red herbs, and The Endless expectation from this fantasy world.
2. A Wrinkle In Time
While A Wrinkle In Time might not be one of the best movies that you ever watched, but if you see it as one of the magic movie genres, you will get to know just how amazing a magical world can be. The story revolves around a 13-year girl who embarks on an interdimensional journey searching for her lost father.
The story is more to the younger age side. Where it depicts light over darkness, good over evil. This story might not be your cup of tea, but if you have children, you can certainly enjoy it with them.

The story starts with a group of explorers and archeologists digging a hole in the surface. In one of their expeditions, they came across a boy coming out of the ground. His skin was red, and he had a tail. Thye soon realized that he is one of the residents of what we know as Hell, and hence, named him Hell Boy.
Since then, this boy has helped human society by fighting the organism and monster coming out from hell. The story has something that resonates with our belief of having hell in the deepest part of the earth.
5. Oz The Great And Powerful
Oz is an adaptation of the Oz novel directed by Sam Raimi. The story revolves around the lead protagonist Oscar Diggs. While performing one of his magic, he gets transported to the fantasy land of Oz. There he encounters three witches named Theodora, Glinda, and Evanora. The witches welcomed him and entrusted him with the responsibility of bringing back the order in the land of Oz.
This film is one of those magical movies that cater to some of the best magical visual effects. Many people loved this movie, and franco was appreciated for his amazing performance.
6. Magic In The Moonlight
This might not be one of the typical magic movies that you were hoping for, but it certainly has something to amaze you. The story is set in the 1920s. Stanley is a lead character and an illusionist by profession in the movie. He was asked by a fellow magical or rather friend in the movie to help him expose a woman, Sophie, claiming to be a spiritualist.
Stanley’s original plan was to get in contact with Sophie to pull curtains from her being and spiritualist. However, the plan backfired, and Sophie smote Stanley. The story of the story will take you on a roller coaster ride.
7. Now You See Me
This magic movie is not something where you will see magic, fantasy world, dragons, and other monsters. Rather it is a movie where the magician does real-life magic tricks in an extraordinary way. The story follows a group of magicians who are the best in the businesses. They came together to form a group of elite magicians, Four Horsemen.
However, they want to reach new heights in magic and want to join The Eye. The whole story covers a different seat of events where this group commits robberies without being caught. Their aim is not to become rich but to become part of ultimate magicians.
This movie will give you the thrills that you need and will keep you on your toes in an expectation to see what will happen next.
