Christopher Nolan’s recent movie “Oppenheimer” released on 23 July 2023. Oppenheimer’s grandson Charles didn’t like a scene and would like to see the part of this movie to be removed.
“The part I like the least is this poison apple reference, which was a problem in American Prometheus,” the grandson of the ‘father of Atomic bomb’ stated. Charles also added that there is, ” no record of him trying to kill somebody. That’s a really serious accusation and it’s historical revision. There’s not a single enemy or friend of Robert Oppenheimer who heard that during his life and considered it to be true.”
He added that this movie might be “compelling” and ” engaging,” but he didn’t even like this one part.
The movie “Oppenheimer” is about the time of World War 2 and follows Oppenheimer, who is the Father of the Atomic Bomb. At that time, he also feared testing the atomic bomb because testing atomic bombs would destroy the world and poison the environment. However, he pushed the button anyway.
This movie’s resonance lies not only from the historical perspective but also in its explorations of human conditions. Oppenheimer’s grandson Charles also expressed that it would be great if the Apple poison part had been removed from the movie. The movie has multiple characters played by famous actors, including Florence Pugh, Robert Downey, Emily Blunt, and many others.
