Take Time to Feel Everything:
For most people, the time immediately after a break-up is very emotional. If you’ve been split up with, you might feel surprised, upset, let down, or even betrayed. If you were the one to end the relationship, it’s natural to feel sad about the end of an era or to feel anxious or concerned about the other person’s reaction.

If you and your ex-partner were living in the same home, it’s time to move out. It’s awful to have to think about this when you’re feeling emotionally raw and fragile, but moving out immediately will give you more space. Time away from the ex is a good idea, even if you decide to be friends.
Moving companies are useful in situations like this, as they can take the hassle out of packing and transporting your belongings. Get your possessions packed up and move out as soon as you’re able.
Indulge in a Haircut:
There’s a reason people often dramatically change their hairstyle after a break-up: it allows them to create a new sense of self.
The end of a relationship is a great time to explore a new side of yourself. Going to the salon for a drastic change to your hair can be liberating, and you may feel that as you cut your hair, you’re metaphorically cutting your ex from your life.
Some people regret post-break-up haircuts, so if you’re planning a big change, take an extra day or two to think it through. If you hate it, it might add to your worries! On the other hand, it could give you a much-needed confidence boost and allow you to move on.
Take Up a Hobby:
When you’re in a relationship, it’s easy to neglect activities you enjoy. Use this breakup as an opportunity to rediscover what you like to do.
If you’re an avid reader, join a book club and use it as a chance to meet new people. If you’re outdoorsy, go hiking with a friend and get your blood pumping. If you’re into cooking, take a cookery class or spend time learning a new showstopping recipe.
